Job seekers take note. Today, more than half of employers now use social media to screen your applications. Those indiscretions on your profile might just be the devil you’ve spent countless sleepless nights “binding and casting”. Drunken party photos, insensitive jokes, tribal comments, extreme political expressions, religious fanaticism, offensive language etc. might be sabotaging your job search efforts. Grammar and spelling mistakes can also play a damaging role in employers’ doubt on your suitability for roles.
